Introduction:

Dr. LI Mingyong received his BS and PhD degree from Department of Pharmaceutics, China Pharmaceutical University in 1999 and 2005, respectively. He performed his postdoctoral research from September 2005 to October 2007 at the Department of Chemistry, Georgia State University. After then, he served as an assistant professor at the same department. After May 2009, he moved to the Department of Pharmacy in Shandong University and served as a professor of medicinal chemistry. His main research areas include medicinal chemistry and chemical biology. Now, he has been supported by several foundations, such as “973”, National Natural Science Foundation of China, Shandong Province Natural Science Fund for Distinguished Young, Program for New Century Excellent Talents Project, Ministry of Education Fok Ying Tung Foundation, and many other research projects, with a total funding of more than 7 millions. Has published more than 100 SCI research papers, in which the first or corresponding author of more than 50 articles and cited more than 1,000 times. Due to his outstanding contributions to the fields, Dr. Le received the Young Love Real Marine Drugs Youth Science and Technology Award in 2009, SCOPUS Star, Shandong Province Natural Science Fund for Distinguished Young in 2010, IUPAC Conference on Young Scientist Award in 2011, Ministry of Education New Century Excellent Talents in 2011, the 16th China Pharmaceutical Association - Servier Young Medicinal Chemistry Award in 2013, and many other awards and honors. After 2011, he was invited as the deputy editor for an international medicinal chemistry journal: Medicinal Research Reviews (2011 SCI impact factor of 10.8), and joined the academic journal editorial boards of ISRN Pharmaceutics, Drug Discoveries & Therapeutics, and Computational Biology Journal.

All are welcome to the lecture!
