Abstract:
An overall introduction to the research experiences of Prof. Feng-Chen Li will be given in this presentation, during his studying/working in Kyoto University, National Maritime Research Institute, National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, The University of Tokyo, Harbin Institute of Technology and University of California at Los Angeles. The research interests of Prof. Feng-Chen Li include turbulent drag reduction by additives, viscoelasticity-induced low-Re elastic turbulence, microfluidics, gas-liquid two phase flow and heat transfer, nuclear reactor thermohydraulics & safety analysis, chamber technology for magnetically confined nuclear fusion device, etc.

About the speaker:
Prof. Feng-Chen Li, Doctor of Engineering, joins IFCEN in August of this year. He had been Chief Engineer in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering of University of California at Los Angeles and Professor in the Institute of Energy Science and Engineering of Harbin Institute of Technology.
