Speaker: Dr. Charles Weiss (Language Teaching Officer, Senior Tutor, Director of Studies in Classics, Clare College, Cambridge)
Introduction of Speaker: Charles Weiss’s main research interests lie in Ancient Greek and Latin language pedagogy, the literature of the Second Sophistic. Dr. Weiss obtained his doctoral degree in University of Yale in 1998. He was awarded a Pilkington Prize for teaching from University of Cambridge in 2010. His publications include Homer’s Odyssey, Cambridge University Press 2012 and Twenty-five years at Yale: essays in honor of Gordon Williams (Edited volume) , 2001
