School Gets Heavyweight Partner for Its EMBA Program
On Mar 19, Northwestern Spokeperson Clarke L. Caywood, chair of the Department of Integrated Marketing Communications, took part in the Business School’s 20th Anniversary Gala and signed cooperation agreement with the school to support its EMBA program-“Entrepreneurs’ Camp Abroad”. The signing ceremony took place in Room 305, MBA Building at 3:30 pm, which signifies that SYSU Business School joins hands with two world renowned universities, Northwestern University and Oxford University, to co-educate businessmen with global perspective. From now on, EMBA students in the Business School can choose one of these two universities to study abroad. “Entrepreneurs’ Camp Abroad”, a significant part of Business School’s EMBA program, is a short term course which enables students to study overseas in top universities for two weeks during which they can visit local universities and multinational companies and face-to-face with Who’s Who in business, government and academia. Founded in 1851, Northwestern University is a famous private institution in USA. According to US News & World Report’s university ranking in 2005, this school with a history of more than 150 years comes in 12th in comprehensive strength and its Kellogg School of Management 7th among business schools across America.
