Shantou Entrusts SYSU to Carry out Research for Its Development
A ceremony was held to mark the signing of the contract, Research on Development Orientation for Shoutou City & Its Industry, at Sun Yat-sen University yesterday afternoon, through which Shantou municipal government entrusts SYSU to carry out in-depth research on the orientation of the city and industry. It means the city wants to avail of the university’s academic strength in social sciences to guide its future development along a path which is positioned more rationally and scientifically. The contract was jointly signed by SYSU President Huang Daren and Mayor of Shantou Huang Zhiguang.
