Symposium on Chinese Consumer Behavior: Multi-discipline Perspective and Case Study Convened

 

The Symposium on Chinese Consumer Behavior: Multi-discipline Perspective and Case Study was held in the International Conference Hall of the School of Business from May 20-21. Co-sponsored by the Business School of SYSU and the China Marketing Research Center, the meeting was designed to provide a high-standard academic platform for experts at home and abroad, aiming to advance domestic consumer behavior research and develop case study in this area. More than 100 experts from 10 plus prestigious universities, such as Eastern Michigan University, University of Kansas, National Sun Yat-sen University (Taiwan), Chinese University of Hong Kong, Tsinghua University, Peking University, Fudan University, Wuhan University, Xi’an Jiaotong University, participated in this event and 10 outstanding scholars in psychics, sociology, marketing, and anthropology delivered keynote speeches.

The symposium covers five topics, multi-discipline perspective on consumer behavior, case study of Chinese consumer behavior, marketing research on consumer behavior, Chinese-featured consumer behavior research and consumer praxiology’s teaching and innovation.
