Garden Party Marking the 4th Ccultural Festival of Hong Kong , Macao and Taiwan and the 10th Aanniversary of Macao’s Rreturn Held in North Campus

On the evening of March 21, a garden party for the annual Cultural Festival of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan was held in the basketball court of the North Campus. The party was among the celebrations featuring the 10th anniversary of Macao’s return to the motherland, and it was also for the university’s Fourth Cultural Festival of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. The garden party was jointly hosted by the student unions of SYSU’s North Campus and the University of Macao, greatly supported by the University’s Macao and Taiwan Affairs Office, Youth League, and Chinese New Youth Association of Macao. Zhang Chunfang, the director of liaison department of Guangdong province of Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macao Special Administrative Region, and more than 100 Macao students from Guangdong colleges were invited to the party.

The ground of the party was divided into three parts, the central arena, the entertainment area , and the dining area. The Latin American dance group from east campus gave a hot Latin American dance performance and fantastic magic show. The champion group of improvising drama from university of Macao won a burst of applause from the audience. In addition, the entertaining games and abundant food of Hong Kong , Macao and Taiwan also attracted a lot of students. What’s more, the students had experienced the catering culture through ethnic cuisine of Hong Kong , Macao and Taiwan.
