Experts from IBM China Research Lab Visits School of Software, Puts IBM “Blue Power Station” Plan into Effect

 

From May 15__ May 17, vice director of IBM China Research Lab Chen Ying and senior engineer Yang Bo, He Le, Zhao Yang were invited to visit the School of Software. Both parties exchanged views about putting Campus “Blue Power Station” plan into effect, carrying out project cooperation and collaboration in curricula’s construction and students’ training. During the visiting, vice director Chen Ying set up a three-day University-Company curriculum called “IT service management”, and gave a report titled “Building a Smarter Planet”.

The IBM campus plan, “Blue Power Station”, is supervised by Moe-IBM Policy Guidance Committee. Every year, IBM will appoint over one hundred senior engineers and managers as campus ambassadors to carry out lectures, training sessions and discussion, making it a viewing tower for students to outlook the cutting-edge of science, experience camp of practicing, gas station for future career development. Sun Yat-sen University is one of the partnership universities in this plan.
