SYSU International Students Receives the First Prize in 2009 Guangzhou Universities Foreign Students Singing Competition

 

On the Evening of May 20th，2009 Guangzhou Universities Foreign Students Singing Competition took place at the Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, which drew international students from 11 colleges and universities of Guangzhou city . With the song “The girl next door”, a five member team led by Zambian Meka and Ghanaian Jones won consistent favorable comments and received the only first prize.

The contest is hosted by the Foreign Affairs Office of Education Department of Guangdong Province, Guangdong Foreign Students Affair Committee and Guangdong University of Foreign Studies. More than 600 teachers and students from Guangzhou colleges and universities watched this competition.
