The Zijing Hotel: The Hotel is located
100 meter from the main gate of the South Campus, and comprises
the Foreign Experts' Building, the new and old International
Students' Buildings and a restaurant. There are luxurious,
standard and cheap rooms available for rent.

Hotel Training Center: The center is just opposite the Guest House at the West Area, and has 55 rooms
of all varieties. The restaurant provides service of three
meals a day, plus a night meal.

 The
Rongguang Hall: The hall is located to the
north of the No. 1 Classroom Building on South Campus, has
33 standard rooms and a caf¨¦, and provides food service in
Chinese and western styles.

The
Heishiwu Guest House: The house was once the
residence of the first Chinese president of Lingnan University
, is located in the Central Area of South Campus. The house
was kept in its original architectural structure, and is surrounded
by blooming flowers and flourishing trees, with birds singing
and paths leading to quiet places. The interior of the house
is decorated in both Chinese and western styles, and looks
dignified and elegant. It is an ideal place for high-level
reception, negotiation and accommodation.

North Campus
The
Apartments for Experts: The apartments are
located in the Foreign Students' Building (at the northwest
of the campus), and has 10 single rooms and 10 double rooms,
as well as 10 suites.

The No. 8 Dormitory for
Advanced Students: The dormitory is located on the first and
second floors of the Apartment Building for Doctoral Students,
and has 26 rooms, each accommodating 6 persons.

Dormitory for Advanced Students on the Fourth Floor of the
General Building : The building is located
to the west of Hemu Laboratory Building , and has 16 room,
each accommodating 3¡ª4 persons.

I. Check in and Check out:
(I) Check in
Register at the office of the guest houses at Room 101, Liyuan
No. 1 Building.
Fill
out the registration form for lodging.
Show your work I. D. or valid certificates from schools or
departments.
Pick up your room keys.
(II) Check out
Check
out at the office of the guest houses at Room 101, Liyuan
No. 1 Building.
Return
the keys and pay the room rate.
II. Standards of accommodation
In general, each person
is assigned to a separate room. Supervisors of doctoral candidates,
deans of schools, professors are entitled to have suites of
one bedroom and one living-room; associate professors share
suites of two bedrooms and one living-room; lecturers shared
suites of three bedrooms and one living-room, and teaching
assistants stayed in suites of four bedrooms and one living-room.
However, as the suites are
limited and most teachers coming to teach on the campus are
associate professors, some of them may be given suites of
four bedrooms and one living-room (with separate washroom)
III. Facilities and items
in the rooms of the guest houses:
electric
appliances: air-conditioner, TV set, telephone, electric fan,
table lamp, drinking water machine, solar water heater
bedding:
sheet, quilt-cover, mosquito net, pillow, cotton quilt, tower
blanket, blanket
daily necessities: hangers, fork-pole, slippers, paper cups,
toilet paper
IV. Charges
(I) Rates of rooms
For short-term stays, rates are calculated by day, at 30 yuan
per day. Check out time is 2:30 p.m. the following day; beyond
that, from 2:30 to 7:30, it will be charged a half-day rate;
after 7:30 it will be charged a whole day rate.
For regular guests, they are charged at a monthly rate, on
the base of 20 days/month.
For those staying for the noon, they will be charged by day
at 10 yuan per day.
(II) Form of payment
For short-term guests, the payment must be made each time
at check-out.
For regular guests, they must pay the rate before the second
day of each month at the office.
For
those staying for the noon, they must also settle the account
at the time of check-out.
