4. Exchange and Cooperation:
Various academic ties have
been established with important universities and research
institutes in USA, Canada, Australia, France, Japan,
Singapore, as well as in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao. A
joint laboratory named the Air Pollution Control of Guangdong
and Hong Kong has been set by the school and the Department
of Civil and Structural Engineering of the Hong Kong
Polytechnic University. It starts to jointly train graduate
students in 2004.
