South Campus

The Purified Water Factory at Sun Yat-sen University supplies the students with drinking water of guaranteed quality and low price. The price is 4 yuan/barrel, and payment may be made by water coupons. If you need to install a drinking water machine in the dormitory room, you may call the factory and pay a deposit of 270 yuan (200 for the machine, 70 for two barrels), then the factory will send workers to install the machine and deliver two barrels of water.

Zhuhai Campus

The Aigaopu Drinking Water Factory supplies the university with drinking water. The faculty apartments are equipped with a drinking machine and two barrels of water, which are delivered by the factory.

Students my exchange water with empty barrels at the locations in each dormitory building.

Drinking water in the classroom building and office building is delivered directly by the factory.

The purified drinking water is manufactured according to the newest standards issued by the Ministry of Health, and is checked and inspected by the Sanitary and Quarantine Department. If the quality of the water deteriorates, please stop drinking it and report to the Office of General Affairs.

Hot water service

South Campus

Solar heaters have been installed on the following buildings: No. 122, 124, 125 and 173. Time of hot water supply: 17 ： 40 － 19 ： 15 21 ： 30 － 23 ： 10

There are three public bath rooms in the living quarters in East Area, to the west of No. 202 Southeast Area, to the east of No. 117 East Area, and to the northeast of No. 137 East Area. Students my purchase hot water coupons and have baths there.
