SYSU School of Asia-Pacific Studies Sets up Alumni Association

"How to repay our Alma Mater? Always dream of campus as our homeland.” Responding to Alma Mater’ summon, more than 150 alumni reunited at Kangle Garden recently and witnessed the establishment of alumni association of School of Asia-Pacific, which is the eighteenth branch of alumni association at SYSU. The establishment ceremony was held at Juxian Hall of South Campus Library.
SYSU Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President Chen Chunsheng, CPC Propaganda Department Minister Xie Manhua, SYSU Alumni Association Secretary-General Li Hanrong, Guangzhou Association For Science & Technology Communist Party Leadership Group Secretary Feng Yuan and other alumni and teachers of Institute of Southeast Asia Studies, as well as graduates of International Politics professional attended the ceremony.
In addition, the ceremony passed the SYSU School of Asia-Pacific Studies Alumni Association Constitution (Draft), SYSU School of Asia-Pacific Studies Alumni Association Administrative Measures (Draft), and determined the first session council members.
