The Zhuhai Campus Enhancement Program Meeting was held on the morning of June 4 in the First Conference Room of the Administration Building on Zhuhai Campus. President Xu Ningsheng, Assistant President Li Shanmin, Assistant President and Director of Zhuhai Campus Administration Bao Jigang, and persons in charge of the schools and functional departments on Zhuhai Campus attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Secretary of Zhuhai Campus Party Committee Hao Dengfeng.

At the meeting, Assistant President Bao Jigang reported on the positioning and development goal of Zhuhai Campus: improve education programs, develop emerging disciplines, promote joint programs with Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan as well as international joint programs, and explore international cooperation in existing disciplines. The central goal is to build a campus with complete functions to meet the requirements of modern education.

President Xu Ningsheng listened carefully to the suggestions made by the persons in charge of the schools and functional departments, and affirmed their initial research and preparation work. He pointed out that, Zhuhai Campus Enhancement Program should aim high and be implemented with focuses and priorities on enhancing student study support platform, teaching quality, scientific research platform, service to local development and internationalization; Zhuhai Campus should improve management mechanisms, coordinate various events and implement the plan according to schedule. He expressed thanks to the faculty and staff working on Zhuhai Campus, and hoped that with concerted efforts we will build it better.
