Recently, the 3rd “Shiyou Cup” Chinese Universities TV Award Ceremony, hosted by the Professional Committee for University Television of the China Education Television Association, was held in Dalian University of Technology. Three works made by the Television Station of Sun Yat-sen University won the award.
Among the 217 entries, “Live Broadcast of Graduation Ceremony 2013 of Sun Yat-sen University”, "Full Edition Peking Opera ‘The Kylin Bag’” and "Way back into love" made by the Television Station of Sun Yat-sen University won first, second and excellence prize respectively.

After the award ceremony, persons in charge of the television stations of Dalian University of Technology, Lanzhou University and Sun Yat-sen University made keynote speeches and communicated with the peers present at the meeting.

Founded in 1995, China Education Television Association serves as a platform for the workers of education TV to communicate and share their experiences. The Professional Committee for University Television of China Education Television Association aims to disseminate the significance and function of campus TV, draw the attention of the society to support the construction and development of campus TV stations, and provide guidance, coordination and services through organizing workshops, training and selection of excellent programs, conducting theoretical discussions, and bringing in and integrating various resources.
