The 4th SYSBS International Week held on East Campus

With the theme of “The 30th Anniversary of SYSBS — Cultivation of the International Business Elites”, Sun Yat-sen Business School (SYSBS) hosted the 4th International Week on November 24-30, 2014. The activities included International Week Opening Ceremony and Study Abroad Open Day, Photo Exhibition of 10-year International Collaboration, Study Abroad Gallery, Enterprise Tour, Friendship Football Match, “Chinese Red” Theme Party and Closing Ceremony.
Opening Ceremony of the 4th SYSBS International Week
The opening ceremony was held in the Administration Building on East Campus on the night of November 24. Prof. Xin Yu, Associate Dean of SYSBS, reviewed the internationalization progress of SYSBS and introduced the study abroad programs to students. In the experience sharing session, international students from different countries and Chinese students who have participated in previous exchange programs shared their experience with local students. Impressed by the vivid presentation, the students acquired more details about study-abroad programs.

On November 24-26, the Photo Exhibition of 10-year International Collaboration and Study Abroad Gallery were held on East Campus. Students appreciated the cultural customs and natural beauty of different countries from the photos taken by exchange students.
Tour of Guangzhou Zhujiang Brewery Group Co., Ltd
On November 28, over 50 Chinese and international students visited Guangzhou Zhujiang Brewery Group Co., Ltd, one of the most well-known enterprises in Guangzhou. They visited the production line and tasted the fresh beer, acquiring knowledge about the beer industry and Chinese corporate management.
Friendship Football Match
On November 29, international students teamed up with Chinese students and played an exciting football match on East Campus.

The “Chinese Red” Theme Party and Closing Ceremony was held on November 30, which provided an opportunity for international students to enjoy the charm of Chinese culture.
Dating back from 2011, the International Week has been a part of annual event of SYSBS. This year, the 4th International Week still has high engagement among hundreds of international and local students.
