On May 22, 2015, a delegation from Yuk Choy High School, Malaysia visited Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU). Dr. Wu Xiaoyan, Deputy Director of Office of International Cooperation & Exchange, Director of Office for International Students’ Affairs (ISO), met with the delegation, accompanied by Ms. Huang Hanzi, Deputy Director of ISO, Ms. Yang Weiqing and Mr. Jia Jia from ISO.

Dr. Wu extended a warm welcome to the guests and gave a brief introduction about SYSU. She hoped that both sides would strengthen the communication and cooperation in introducing more students to study at SYSU in the future.
On behalf of the delegation, Mr. Soh Mun Sing, Principal of Yuk Choy High School, thanked SYSU for the warm reception and introduced Yuk Choy High School in detail from its history to its current development. He also invited SYSU delegation to visit their school to do the recruitment promotion and give the students a better understanding of SYSU.
Established in 1908, Yuk Choy High School is one of the best private high schools in Malaysia. It is committed to developing the school into an institution that spreads Chinese culture in Malaysia by teaching in Chinese.
