New students registration began on four campuses of Sun Yat-sen University yesterday. President Luo Jun, Vice Presidents Yan Guangmei, Li Shanmin and Yu Minbin respectively inspected the work of welcoming new students on site. Till the afternoon of August 19, 2015, a total of 7,636 undergraduate first-year students registered, with the registration rate at 95.9%; and 5,645 postgraduate first-year students registered, with the registration rate at nearly 90%.
