Recently, in the national May 4th commendation, Zhu Minghua, a junior student from School of Tourism Management and Academy of Entrepreneurship of SYSU, was honored as the "National Excellent Youth League Member” for her outstanding performance in entrepreneurship.
The South Burgeon Entrepreneur Team led by Zhu Minghua won gold medal in
the 8th “Challenge Cup” National College Students Business Plan Competition
Zhu Minghua founded the South Burgeon Entrepreneur Team to start business in 2011, and attended the Whampoa Class of the Academy of Entrepreneurship in 2012. As the project leader, she led her team to win several awards for entrepreneurship including the first place in the “SYSU Science Park Cup” Entrepreneurial Skills & Planning Competition, the second place in the Global Entrepreneurship Week China Station, and the gold medal in the 8th “Challenge Cup” National College Students Business Plan Competition. So far, their project has been put into practice successfully.
In recent years, SYSU Youth Association has actively promoted student entrepreneurship and innovation education through a series of high-level competitions, such as the “SYSU Science Park Cup” entrepreneurial skills & planning competition and the “Shunde Cup” Entrepreneurship Competition. At the same time, in cooperation with partners like the National University Science Park of Sun Yat-sen University, SYSU Youth Association plays an active role in helping a number of the entrepreneurship dreams come true. In the 8th “Challenge Cup” National College Students Business Plan Competition, SYSU won two gold medals and one silver medal, achieving the best result ever in the competition.
