SYSU teams win the champion at the 6th Guangdong University Students Volleyball League in 2013

Sponsored by Guangdong Students Sports and Art Association, co-sponsored by the Volleyball Association of Guangdong Students Sports and Art Association, and organized by Sun Yat-sen University, the 6th Guangdong University Students Volleyball League in 2013 was held simultaneously on South Campus and East Campus of Sun Yat-sen University from June 1 to June 9. After nine days’ fierce competition, SYSU teams won the champion of Men’s Volleyball Group A and Women’s Volleyball Group A respectively.

Over 950 athletes in 76 teams from 49 universities and vocational and technical colleges across Guangdong Province took part in this competition, which had the biggest number of teams, largest scope and widest coverage since the Guangdong University Students Volleyball League was first held. This is the fifth time that Sun Yat-sen University, as the chairman unit of Guangdong Students Sports and Art Association, organized the competition.
