Yesterday afternoon, after the first round of elimination, 7 teams stood out from over 40 participating teams in the Imagine Cup·Guangzhou Higher Education Mega Center Competition and entered the final contest. SYSU MAD CLUB won the grand prize and 5,000 yuan.

After the competition, Lin Weichang, Deputy Mayor of Panyu District and Director of The Administrative Committee of Guangzhou Higher Education Mega Center, said that the government will encourage investment institutions to support industrialization of excellent projects in the competition, provide financial support for the cloud service platform for innovation and entrepreneurship currently under construction in Guangzhou Higher Education Mega Center, and plan to establish Guangzhou Entrepreneurship Institute for University Students.
