Three SYSU students won outstanding awards in 2014 Guangdong English Writing Contest

On November 1-2, the “2014 Guangdong English Writing Contest” finals were held in Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU). 108 students from 41 universities and colleges in Guangdong province participated in the contest.
Grand Prize Presentation at 2014 Guangdong English Writing Contest
Three SYSU students, recommended by the Faculty of English Education (FEE), advanced to the finals and won outstanding awards. They are: Grand-prize-winner Wang Chaoying, a sophomore from School of Government, Grand-prize-winner Tian Kuangyi, a junior from Zhongshan School of Medicine, and First-prize-winner Deng Ying, a freshman from School of Mathematics and Computational Science. Their instructors are Ms. Zhang Jun, Ms. Xie Fang, Ms. Deng Ni from FEE and Ms. Yin Xiaoqian from Zhongshan School of Medicine.
This contest was co-hosted by Guangdong College English Teaching Advisory Board & Guangdong English Language Teaching Advisory Board, and organized by FEE of SYSU.
