On the afternoon of September 20, Professor Joseph Klafter, President of Tel Aviv University (TAU), visited SYSU. Vice President Professor Zhu Xiping met with the guests. Professor Ling Wenhua, Director of Office of International Cooperation & Exchange, Professor Wang Bin, Academic & Administrative Supervisor of the School of International Studies, and Associate Professor Zhu Tiequan of School of Sociology and Anthropology attended the meeting.
SYSU Vice President Zhu Xiping meeting with TAU President Joseph Klafter
Vice President Zhu Xiping extended his warm welcome to President Joseph Klafter and introduced the basic situation of SYSU. President Joseph Klafter introduced TAU’s disciplines and the collaborations with Tsinghua University, Peking University and Fudan University achieved during his visit to China. The two sides discussed cooperation in Middle Eastern Studies and student exchange, and reached an initial consensus.
