"Spend a year doing an unforgettable thing in your life." The Yunnan group of the 15th SYSU Graduate Student Teaching Team arrived in Chengjiang County on July 27, where they will be teaching for a year at The First High School of Chengjiang County and the Fourth High School of Chengjiang County. The Tibet group arrived in Linzhi on July 31, where they will be teaching for a year at The First High School of Linzhi Prefecture, The Second High School of Linzhi Prefecture and Linzhi County High School. Before they went to their final destinations, the team members received a three-day training in Kunming and Lhasa respectively, and attended the expedition ceremony of the college student volunteer service west plan. At the expedition ceremony, Feng Jiajun, Lan Yuhui, Li Jingyan and Liu Jiayi of the 14th SYSU Graduate Student Teaching Team were awarded outstanding volunteers of the college student volunteer service west plan in the Tibet Autonomous Region.

Every year since 1999, SYSU has sent a Graduate Student Teaching Team to the western regions. Up till now, 15 teams of 155 students have participated in the teaching work in Tibet, Yunnan, Qinghai, Gansu, Shanxi, Ningxia and Guangxi.
