Sun Yat-sen University signed cooperation framework agreements with Inner Mongolia University and Inner Mongolia University for the Nationalities

On the morning of May 26, the signing ceremony of cooperation among universities, research institutes and enterprises of the First Inner Mongolia - Guangdong Science and Technology Cooperation Week was held in Guangzhou. During the ceremony, 13 colleges and universities from Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region signed cooperation framework agreements with 15 universities, scientific research institutes, and enterprises in Guangdong Province. On behalf of Sun Yat-sen University, Executive Deputy Secretary and Vice President Chen Chunsheng signed two cooperation framework agreements respectively with Inner Mongolia University and Inner Mongolia University for the Nationalities, aiming at starting deep-level cooperation in talent cultivation, discipline construction and research projects. Within the framework of top-level design for strategic collaborations between Guangdong and Inner Mongolia, and on the basis of previous collaborations, this time the cooperation will focus on the fields of life sciences, chemistry and medical sciences.

The First Inner Mongolia - Guangdong Science and Technology Cooperation Week is aimed to take the overall science and technology collaborations between the two sides as a starting point, constantly strengthen communication and promote the scientific development of economic, social and technological causes through cooperation in science and technology, talents, culture, tourism and industrial projects. The 7-day activity (from May 25 to 31), will promote multilevel, extensive and all-round cooperation and exchange between Guangdong and Inner Mongolia by means of industrial project cooperation and bringing in investment, technology and talents. The theme of this activity is “innovation, cooperation, win-win, development”.
