Sun Xueyu, Director of the Office of Central Talent Work Coordination Group and Director of the Talent Bureau of the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee, Paid a Visit to Professor Xia Shuzhang at SYSU

Director Sun Xueyu highly praised Professor Xia’s excellent contribution to the development of Public Administration in China, and emphasized that Professor Xia was among the first batch of top talents who came back to participate in the construction of new China.

Director Sun Xueyu also pointed out that many major research findings in the field of public administration were implemented in Guangdong ahead of other provinces and achieved fruitful results. Director Sun also discussed with Professor Xia about the guiding significance of public administration theories for administrative practices.

The 93-year-old Professor Xia Shuzhang is still hale and hearty and can talk with great familiarity about public administration theories. He cares for the reform and development of our country. Professor Xia expressed gratitude for the care of the Party and State and presented his new book to the guests as well.

Ma Jun, Dean of the School of Government and Luo Teng, Director of the Human Resources Department were also present in the visit.
