On September 29, a delegation headed by Vanchai SIRICHANA, President of Mea Fah Luang University, paid a visit to SYSU. Wei Minghai, Vice President of SYSU, and Hao Yajuan, Deputy Director of the Office of International Cooperation & Exchange, had a discussion with the guests.

Vice President Wei Minghai expressed a warm welcome to the delegation and gave a brief introduction to SYSU. President Vanchai SIRICHANA introduced the history of Mea Fah Luang University and highlighted its cooperation with Chinese universities as well as its experiences in full English teaching. The two sides finally agreed on the intention to develop student exchange programs in the future.

Mea Fah Luang University is by far the only public university in Thailand with English as its primary medium of instruction. It is located in Chiang Rai province in northern Thailand.
