Background Information:
The torch of the 26th Summer Universiade, whose dominant colors are red and yellow, is named as “Rainbow”. The design of the torch is inspired by the emblem of Shenzhen Summer Universiade--- the “Happy U”. The torch is mainly consisted of dot slices. Each slice is colored according to the color scheme of the Universiade, dominated by red and yellow. It manifests the color of sunshine, youth and the sacred flame; reflects the spirit of Shenzhen as “the City of Design” and “the City of Innovation”; and adds a florid chapter of innovation to the history of Universiade.
