On December 17
th, the International Conference on Carbon Trading Law System, jointly hosted by School of Law, SYSU, Vermont Law School, USA, and co-sponsored by American Agency for International Development and
Journal of China University of Geosciences(Social Science Edition), was successfully held in the Pearl River Hall of Guangdong Hotel, Guangzhou. Scholars, experts from governments, Departments of Practice domestic and abroad, as well as staff and students from Sun Yat-sen University attended the conference.
The International Conference on Carbon Trading Law System began on the morning of 17
th. Vice President of School of Law Professor Li Zhiping extended warmest welcome to the representatives of the conference. The Vermont Law School representative of China Environmental Law project Mr. Adam Moser delivered a speech, where he expressed his hope for establishing and improving Chinese carbon trading law system through this conference.
The participants of this conference showed great interest for the presentations. They actively asked speakers questions and commented on the speeches, which formed good interactions and produced positive results.
