On Oct. 29^th, three people from Lyon 3 University of France visited our university; they are President Monsieur Hugues Fulchiron, Vice President Monsieur Jacque Comby, and Director of International Office Monsieur Jean-Jacques Wunenburge. Wei Haiming, Vice President of our university, met the delegation, along with Prof. Chang Chengguang, Dean of the School of Foreign Languages, Prof. Wang Bin, chief director of administration and teaching in the School of International Studies, Prof. Chen Dong, assistant to the dean of the School of Law and Xu Yao, Deputy Director of the Office of International Cooperation & Exchange.

Having reviewed the cooperation and achievements between the two universities in the past ten years, the two sides expressed their will to further support and enhance the cooperation. On the basis of consolidating the present preponderant cooperation, new agreements have been reached to extend the cooperation from educational field, such as students exchange and teachers communication, into scientific research.

During the visit, President Hugues Fulchiron and his colleagues held conferences with staff from Lingnan School, the School of Law and the School of International Studies respectively, reaching new agreement on several fields, including students exchanges, joint trainings and summer class programs etc.
