On the morning of October 20^th, Jerry Strickland, the Vice President of University of Huston, US and Doctor John Bear, the International Programs Manager of School of Nature Science and Mathematics visited Sun Yat-sen University. They were received by Managing Vice President Xu Jiarui. In retrospect of the previous collaboration, both sides expressed their will of expanding cooperation areas to biology science, business and other subjects based on original cooperation.

During their visit, the guests also exchanged ideas with the scholars and experts from School of Physics and Engineering, School of Life Science, Eye Center and so on.

University of Huston is a comprehensive university located in Texas, US with 66,000 students and whose preponderant disciplines were life science, biomedical science, engineering and business.
