Sun Yat-sen University has been supported by prominent personages from all walks of life all the time. In order to express the gratitude to the donators, as well as to let them know about the status quo and future plans of the university, during May 31 to June 1, President Xu Ningsheng and Deputy Secretary Li Ping and the group visited Doctor Xian Weijian, president of Wan Ya Jewelry Company Limited and his wife, Doctor Fang Runhua, president of Fang Shu Fu Tang Foundation and Fang Runhua Foundation and Hip Shing Hong Group and Doctor Liang Jiehua, president of Liang Jiehua Foundation and honorary doctor of Sun Yat-sen University.
The visit has promoted deeper communication and understanding between Sun Yat-sen University and the donators, which has received a fruitful result. The group also visited Su Fengxi, director of Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hospital, Breast Tumor Medical Department and Shu Hua Breast Cancer Research Center, Liu Yangchun, director of Infrastructure Department and Zhang Xiaotong, Administration Minister of Education and Development Foundation.
