At the invitation of the president of School of Information Management Professor Cao Shujin, the director of Map and Image Laboratory of Davidson Library from University of California Santa Babara Professor Jon Jablonski visited Sun Yat-sen University on May 26th.On the morning of May 26th, Professor Jon Jablonski talked with some teacher representatives from School of Information Management on the topic of iSchool reform of the teaching content system. Professor Jon Jablonski first introduced the holdings, services, digitization, 3D technology of the Map and Image Laboratory of Davidson Library he is responsible for. Then based on his individual learning and working experiences, he studied the changes of curriculum reform that would occur during the process of transforming from traditional Library & Information Science School to iSchool, together with the teachers present.

After the meeting, Professor Jon Jablonski and his accompanies visited the library of Sun Yat-sen University on East Campus, whose spirit of openness, user-friendly facilities and services he appreciated.
