On May 10th, the conference of Experienced Universities in Graduate Employment in the year 2010 to 2011 was held by the Ministry of Education. Du Yubo, the Deputy Secretary and Vice Minister of Education attended the conference and delivered a speech and Lin Huiqing, the member of Party Leadership Group and Assistant of Minster of Education announced the list of 50 universities which were awarded as Universities Experienced in Graduate Employment. Additionally, Deputy Secretary of Sun Yat-sen University Zhu Kongjun delivered a speech with its name as “To Innovate the cultivation model of Intelligence and Serve them to Become the Pillars of Society” on behalf of four Experienced Universities. The principals from 50 Experienced Universities of 21 provinces (cities, districts) around China and the heads from graduates career centers of some provinces and cities also attended the conference.


Deputy Secretary and Vice Minister of Ministry of Education Du Yubo specifically appreciated the accomplishments Sun Yat-sen University has achieved in intelligence training and promoting employment rate of graduates.

After the conference, Deputy Secretary Zhu Kongjun was interviewed by CCTV as well as other news media.

Li Mingzhang, the Director of Career Center of Sun Yat-sen University also attended the conference.
