On May 19, Nair, the consul of India in Guangzhou visited School of Asia-Pacific Studies, SYSU by invitation. Professor Takeshi Hamashita, Dean of School of Asia-Pacific Studies, Professor Liu Zhiwei, Executive Vice Dean of School of Asia-Pacific Studies and part of the faculty met him.

Both sides had a further discussion on the study of the comparison between China and India and the promotion of exchange and cooperation between School of Asia-Pacific Studies, SYSU and relevant universities in India.
