The School of Law of Our University Signed the Memorandum of Cooperation with School of Law of University Maastricht

On the morning of May 17th, Professor Rogier Creemers MA, the coordinator of Eurasian Comparative Study Course from the School of Law, University Maastricht visited the School of Law, Sun Yat-sen University., and he was warmly welcomed by Vice President of School of Law Professor Huang Yao and Professor Li Zhiping. The representatives from two sides signed the memorandum of cooperation between School of Law, Sun Yat-sen University and School of Law, University Maastricht with 5 years’ validity period, and whose contents includes research cooperation, exchanges among teachers and students, joint cultivation of doctoral students, jointly held meetings and seminars, co-edit and co-publish collected papers and other publications.
The signing of this memorandum marks the beginning of the cooperation of two schools, which will promote various issues such as discipline development, scientific research, cultivation of geniuses, international exchanges and help in realizing the mutual progress of both schools. The two sides also discussed some other issues heatedly, such as issues concerning with double major programs of postgraduate students, exchanges among graduates, summer courses, training classes and so on.
