Secretary Zheng Detao Visited the 2011 Graduate Representatives Who Are Going to Work Outside Guangdong Province

On the afternoon of June 23, Zheng Detao, the secretary of Party Committee of SYSU, visited 14 graduate representatives who are going to work outside Guangdong Province in the VIP Room of Zhongshan Building and had an informal discussion with them. Li Mingzhang who is the director of CareerCenter, and the other two staff from the career center were present at the discussion.
To begin with, Secretary Zheng Detao expressed his sincere congratulations to the graduates who are going to begin a new career. He also enquired about the study and life of the campus and the employment. Secretary Zheng said, Sun Yat-sen University is a national key university in Guangdong and it’s significant to implement its own advantages and make contribution to the development of China and Guangdong. Sun Yat-sen University graduates have tremendous competitiveness. Therefore, it’s their duty to go out of Guangdong and walk to the world, to a higher platform to shine and to win glory for their mother school. To those graduates, Secretary Zheng wished them to have a calm and positive mindset so as to exert themselves and make progress. Our university would always care and support the graduates and it would be nice for the graduates to visit the university occasionally and keep in touch. Last but not least, Secretary Zhen sincerely wished graduates success.
