The Office for Overseas Promotion at Sun Yat-sen University is pleased to announce the launch of the university’s first ever English language newsletter. The newsletter, called SYSU World, was released earlier this week, in time for SYSU’s 90th Anniversary Celebrations. In line with the university’s stated goal of comprehensive campus internationalization, the publication’s aim is to build and strengthen ties with institutions and individuals around the world, reaching a global audience with the latest university information and news. The first issue includes an events forecast for anniversary-related activities and lectures, an overview of the history of the school, and a look at some of the cutting-edge research being done at the university.
