Prof. Van Iat Kio, President of Kiang Wu Nursing College of Macau, visited SYSU

On the morning of November 20, a 5-member delegation led by Prof. Van Iat Kio, President of Kiang Wu Nursing College of Macau, visited Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU). Prof. Li Ping, Deputy Secretary of SYSU Party Committee, met with the guests in Zhongshan Building on South Campus.

Prof. Li Ping extended a warm welcome to the guests and briefly reviewed the cooperation between SYSU and Kiang Wu Nursing College of Macau. She hoped that the two sides would enhance cooperation and exchange on the basis of existing collaborations. Prof. Van Iat Kio thanked Prof. Li Ping for the warm reception and put forward plans for expanding fields of cooperation between the two universities.

During the meeting, the two sides held in-depth discussions on joint master’s degree courses, faculty exchange, student internship, etc.

Mr. Gao Jiuqun, Director of Academic Training Office of Graduate School; Prof. Zhang Meifen, Deputy Dean of School of Nursing; Ms. Yang Peiqing, Deputy Director of Human Resources Department; and Ms. Huang Ruimin, Deputy Director of Office for Hong Kong, Macao & Taiwan Affairs of SYSU were also present at the meeting.
