A delegation from Queensland University of Technology visited SYSU

On December 10, 2014, a delegation led by Prof. Scott Sheppard, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (International and Development) of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), visited SYSU. Prof. Zhu Xiping, Vice President of SYSU, met with the guests in Zhongshan Building on South Campus, accompanied by Ms. Gu Wenli, Deputy Director of Office of International Cooperation & Exchange.

Prof. Zhu Xiping extended a warm welcome to the guests. He said that Prof. Scott Sheppard, old friend of SYSU, has made tremendous contribution to the cooperation between SYSU and QUT. The two sides reviewed the past mutual cooperation and discussed possibilities of cooperation in the fields of environmental science, regenerative medicine, intellectual property rights, etc. After the meeting, the delegation visited Lingnan College and School of Public Health of SYSU.
