CMB-CP Review in Migrant Health Policy in SYSU

On March 2, 2015, Professor Sudhir Anand, Professor of Economics at the University of Oxford, and Professor Gabriel Leung, Dean of the Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine at the University of Hong Kong, accompanied by Dr. John Ji, CMB Program Manager, conducted the review of the China Medical Board Collaborating Program (CMB-CP) in Migrant Health Policy in Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU).

The review was held in the Reception Room on North Campus of SYSU. It was chaired by Professor Li Mengfeng, Vice President of SYSU. Professor Ling Li, PI of the CMB-CP in Migrant Health Policy in SYSU, presented a work report. The CMB reviewers affirmed the work of the program, and made suggestions on the research methods and future research directions of the program. Then, the CMB reviewers paid a visit to Sun Yat-sen Center for Migrant Health Policy and learned more about the Center’s development process and achievements.

SYSU attendees of the review also included Professor Hao Yuantao, Dean of School of Public Health, Ms. Zhu Changping, Deputy Director of Office of Medical Science, and Ms. Gu Wenli, Deputy Director of Office of International Cooperation & Exchange.
