A delegation led by President of Soochow University (Taiwan) visited SYSU

On May 26, 2015, an 8-member delegation led by Professor Pan, Wei Ta, President of Soochow University (Taiwan), visited Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU). Professor Chen Chunsheng, Executive Deputy Secretary and Vice President of SYSU, met with the guests in Zhongshan Building.

SYSU attendees of the meeting also included Professor Xiao Bin, Dean of School of Government, Professor Chang Chenguang, Vice Dean of Faculty of Foreign Languages and International Studies, Professor Ren Qiang, Vice Dean of School of Law, Professor Liao Wenbo, Director of Department of Biological Science and Technology of School of Life Sciences, and Professor Zheng Guojian, Deputy Director of Department of Accounting of Sun Yat-sen Business School.

During the meeting, Professor Chen Chunsheng extended a warm welcome to the delegation and introduced the development of SYSU. He hoped that this visit would enhance mutual understanding and deepen cooperation and exchange between SYSU and Soochow University (Taiwan).

Professor Pan, Wei Ta said that he was glad to visit SYSU. He hoped that the two universities would expand fields of cooperation on the basis of university-level student exchanges. The participants also introduced their schools and departments respectively, with the hope to conduct more collaborations in corresponding fields in the future.
