Dr. Scott Snyder, Associate Vice Chancellor and Chief Research Officer of University of Nebraska Omaha, visits SYSU

On the morning of November 9, 2015, Dr. Scott Snyder, Associate Vice Chancellor and Chief Research Officer of University of Nebraska Omaha (UNO), and Ms. Belinda Jiang, President of David USA Education, visited Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU).

Prof. Ma Jun, Vice President of SYSU, met with the guests in Zhongshan Building on South Campus, accompanied by Prof. Guo Zhonghua, Deputy Dean of School of Government, Associate Professor Niu Meili, Managing Director of the Center for Public Administration Research, Ms. Xu Yao, Deputy Director of Office of International Cooperation & Exchange, and representatives from Office of Scientific Research.

Prof. Ma Jun extended a warm welcome to the guests and introduced SYSU and its recent development. Dr. Scott Snyder said that he was glad to visit SYSU for the first time, and briefly introduced the advantageous disciplines of UNO. The two sides discussed possibilities of student exchange and faculty visit in the fields of public administration, biomechanics and public health.

Dr. Scott Snyder also had a meeting with representatives from School of Government and School of Public Health, and had a tour of the South Campus of SYSU.
