This year marks the 149th anniversary of the birth of Dr. Sun Yat-sen and the 91st anniversary of the founding of Sun Yat-sen University. On the morning of November 12, 2015, the University held ceremonies of presenting flowers to the bronze statues of Dr. Sun Yat-sen on four campuses.

Prof. Chen Chunsheng, Secretary of SYSU Party Committee, Ms. Guo Yaping, Deputy Secretary of SYSU Party Committee, Prof. Yu Minbin, Vice President of SYSU, Prof. Ma Jun, Vice President of SYSU, Prof. Cheng Huanwen, Assistant President of SYSU, together with faculty and student representatives, attended the ceremonies on four campuses respectively.

First, the flag-raising ceremony was held.

Then, the flower presenting ceremony was held.
