Recently, the Ministry of Civil Affairs published the selection results of the First National Outstanding Professional Social Service Projects. Both “Urban-Rural Cooperation, Fair Trade, Creating Ecological Civilization and Sustainable Livelihoods”, the project undertaken by Guangdong Green Farming Social Work Development Center which was registered by SYSU Professor ZHANG Heqing, and “United Family · Happy Union”, the family comprehensive service project undertaken by SYSU Social Service Center which was registered by SYSU Associate Professor HE Liping, won first prize.

It is reported that the Ministry of Civil Affairs organized the selection of the First National Outstanding Professional Social Service Projects to encourage social work service organizations and individuals to actively participate in professional social service work and promote a better and faster development of social service industry. Through applications, recommendations, expert review and social publicity, 80 national outstanding professional social service projects were selected, with 10 projects winning first prize.
