12 SYSU professors approved to enjoy the 2014 special government allowances of the State Council

Recently, 12 professors at Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU) received the 2014 special government allowances of the State Council. They are: Chen Guanghan (Center for Studies of Hong Kong, Macao and Pearl River Delta), Chen Xiaohong (School of Geography and Planning), Du Jun (School of Pharmaceutical Sciences), Guo Xianping (School of Mathematics & Computational Science), Huang Shizhong (Department of Chinese), Liu Xianguo (Zhongshan School of Medicine), Liu Xiaolin (The First Affiliated Hospital), Ma Guoqing (School of Sociology and Anthropology), Mao Zongwan (School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering), Shen Huiyong (Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hospital), Wang Chengxin (School of Physics and Engineering), and Xiao Bin (School of Government).
The special government allowances of the State Council is an incentive system of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China for high-level professional and technical talents as well as high-skilled talents. By far, 537 experts at SYSU have enjoyed the special government allowances.
