Academician Zhang Peizhen appointed as Professor of Sun Yat-sen University

Recently, Prof. Zhang Peizhen, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, was appointed as Professor of Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU). Prof. Luo Jun, President of SYSU, presented the letter of appointment to Academician Zhang Peizhen.
The appointment ceremony was presided over by Prof. Wei Minghai, Vice President of SYSU. The attendees also included Qiu Guoxin, Director of the Publicity Department, Wen Guanghao, Director of Inspection and Evaluation Division of the Office of Strategic Planning, Luo Teng, Director of the Human Resources Department, Prof. Zhang Ke, Dean of the School of Earth Science and Geological Engineering, Tang Rui, Party Secretary of the School of Earth Science and Geological Engineering, and the specially invited representative Prof. Wang Yuejun.
