316 SYSU Projects Receives National Natural Science Fund

Recently, the evaluation result for 2009 National Natural Science Foundation Research Project was announced. SYSU’s 316 research projects received national natural science fund of China with a total support of more than one hundred an fifteen million yuan ranking SYSU NO.7 among the competitors nationwide as far as the number of projects and the amount of the fund are concerned. The 316 projects supported by NSF are as follows: 6 projects supported by NSF for Distinguished Young Scholars, 4 projects supported by the Key Program of NSF, 5 projects supported by Guangdong Joint Research Fund, 1 project supported by International(Regional) Cooperation and Exchange of China, Japan and Korea, 1 project supported by the Major Program of NSF, 4 projects supported by National Fund for Talent Training in Basic Science, 2 projects supported by Joint Research Fund For Overseas, Hong Kong and Macao Young Scholars, 203 projects supported by Free Application Projects, 88 projects supported by NSF for Young Scientists of China, and 2 projects supported by Special Fund.
