Professor Bao Jigang Elected Vice-president of the Geographical Society of China

The Tenth National Representative Conference and the 2010 Academic Meeting for the Geographical Society of China was held in Shanghai from May 29th to 30th . The conference involves two main agendas: one is to bring out through election the tenth board of directors of the Geographical Society of China; the other is to hold the 2010 academic meeting of the Geographical Society of China and the Fifth Annual National Geographical Academic Meeting for Graduate Students. Ex-Vice Minister of the Ministry of Science and Technology Researcher Liu Yanhua was elected president of the tenth board of directors of the Geographical Society of China, and the Assistant President of SYSU, Professor Bao Jigang, was elected the Vice-president.
