International Business School and ACCA Inked Cooperation Deal for Undergraduate Program
On October the 18th, the signing ceremony was held between InternationalBusinessSchool and Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (hereafter ACCA) for undergraduate program cooperation on Zhuhai campus. Attending the singing ceremony were the International Business School’s Associate Dean Zhou Tainyun and Deputy Secretary of CPC Committee Zhong Yibiao, Yuan Jiuzhe, the Chief Representative ACCA Guangzhou Office as well as more than 300 students from the International Business School.
The undergraduate program aims to avail of ACCA’s international training mode, to help the students obtain professional knowledge and hands-on skill, to cultivate their international perspective and thinking and improve their financial English ability so as to build up their career competitiveness from various aspects. A series of lectures about career planning in the finance and economics field will be provided by two sides.
The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants was formed in 1904, and is one of the most influential accounting organizations in the world. It is the earliest accounting organization in internationalization. In most of the countries, ACCA has built branch organizations, offices and liaison offices. 300 testing sites are set in more than 160 countries; it has more than 250 thousand students and members worldwide. Because the courses of ACCA are comprehensive, they are now adopted as the chief source of worldwide accounting courses by the UN.
